Field Hospital in record time

Completing the manufacturing, delivery, and installation of a 200-bed UN Level 2 Field Hospital within only 42 days! Bushtec Originals official brand for Redeployable Camp Systems SA (Pty) Ltd managed to set this record during the height of Covid. Hospitals were in high demand, and most countries strived to support their countrymen during this trying period.

Processing 66 000m of fabric and 76 000m of steel into fabric structures to make up a fully flexed Field Hospital complete with 3 x 400 KVA Generators, quick erect ablution container facilities, even including negative pressure HVAC systems fitted with HEPA filters and mortuary.

The wards, Isolation wards, and ICU units are all in PVC fabric structures and the hospital is connected by a 119 m-long corridor.

The field hospital is fitted with a water purification plant and full reticulation, a wastewater treatment plant, and electrical reticulation throughout the camp.

84 tons were flown out and 21 tons of cargo was shipped after the 3-week manufacturing, the complete camp was installed within 3 weeks by our seasoned installation team.
