Redeployable Camp Systems SA (Pty) Ltd (RCSSA) is a proudly South African company specialising in the design and supply of redeployable camps for the military and mining sectors.
Established as part of a strategic partnership between Weatherhaven and Canvas and Tent Manufacturing (Pty), the two companies teamed together in 2002 to provide “turnkey camp facilities” for 1200 soldiers for the South African National Defense Force in the Great Lakes Region of Africa. This camp also included a UN Level 2 Mobile Military Field Hospital.
Today RCSSA offers a full turnkey service that includes design, system integration (such as kitchens, dining facilities, ablutions etc.), manufacturing, installation, management and maintenance. Providing specialised solutions such as field hospitals, base camps, exploration and workforce camps to the mining industry and peacekeeping forces.

Xilaxu Lifestyle Tents (Pty) Ltd are now the majority shareholder in Redeployable Camp Systems.
RCSSA has its own factory in Ladysmith KwaZulu Natal, where all our expandable containers and specialised containers are manufactured to client specification. Our PVC fabric structures, and canvas tents are all manufactured by the renowned Canvas and Tent Manufacturing, located in Ladysmith KwaZulu Natal, which has been manufacturing tents since 1968.
RCSSA is ISO 9001:2015 certified, classified as level 5 System Integrator in terms of the Armscor systems hierarchy and an Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) accredited contractor. We are also a proud member of the Aerospace, Maritime and Defence Industries Association (AMD). Partner with us to house your troops and workforce.

Our vision is for RCSSA to be the preferred supplier of Camp Systems globally.
Our mission is to provide our customers with the best possible service, while fully satisfying all their operational requirements. We, therefore, supply turnkey Redeployable Camp Systems to inhospitable and remote locations where our clients are performing military protection, policing and security services, conducting mining or disaster relief operations and any other activity which requires temporary accommodation.
We do this with the aid of competent and experienced industry partners who are involved with RCSSA on a project-to-project basis during the planning process.
